Terms of service
Last updated: 22 October 2026
These terms apply when you buy from the SweeTees online shop. Please read them before you order.
1. Who we are
SweeTees is the trading name of Matt Roe, a sole trader based at 6 Bridge Street, Brigstock, NN14 3ET, United Kingdom. Email: hello@sweetees.co.uk. Our tees are printed and posted for us by our UK print partner.
2. Your order
When you place an order you'll get an email confirming it. That email is our acceptance, and it forms the contract between us. Because every tee is printed to order, we start production soon after you pay, so please check your sizes, colours and address before checking out. We may cancel an order and refund you in full if an item is unavailable or there's an obvious pricing error.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added to our prices. Delivery is charged at checkout as set out in our Shipping policy. Payment is taken in full when you order.
4. Pick 'n' mix
Pick 'n' mix discounts are applied automatically at checkout: 13% off when you buy 3 or more tees, 21% off for 5 or more, and 24% off for 10 or more. Only the best discount applies, and it can't be combined with other discount codes. We may change or end these offers at any time, but never for orders already placed.
5. Your Sweet Spot (custom tees)
In Your Sweet Spot you choose a design, shirt colour, size and print position. The prices shown include a £3 custom fee and £8 for a second print. On-screen previews, including "See it for real", are a close guide but not exact. Colours vary between screens, and print position and size can vary slightly from the preview. Custom tees can't be returned for a change of mind (see our Refund & returns policy).
6. Secret Recipe (designs made for you)
When you order a Secret Recipe, you pay a £20 designer's fee plus the price of your tee. We'll email you a proof within 5 working days and make up to two rounds of changes. Your tee is only printed once you approve the proof. The designer's fee covers the design work and can't be refunded once we've started on it. If you're still not happy after two rounds of changes, we'll refund the price of the tee. We can't create designs that use other people's characters, logos, trade marks or famous faces, or that are offensive, and we may turn down a recipe and refund you in full. Designs we create for you are the copyright of SweeTees, and we may also sell them in our shop.
7. Our designs
All designs on our tees and website are the copyright of SweeTees. Buying a tee gives you the tee, not the right to copy, reproduce or sell the design.
8. Caring for your tee
For the print to last, wash inside out at 30°C, don't tumble dry, and don't iron directly on the print.
9. Our responsibility to you
If we break these terms, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that. We're not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website when you place your order applies to that order.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
